Bushido Ju-Jitsu offers every child the opportunity to improve his physical and mental conditioning through learning basic effective combat skills.

Ju-Jitsu assists each child to channel and focus his energy in a disciplined way. By learning how to cope with controlled physical contact and learning new skills your kid will become more confident.

Sometimes we are faced with circumstances in our lives when we can depend on no one but ourselves to make the right decisions for our well being and survival. Parents should consider learning Bushido Ju-Jitsu as a training tool for their children which develops strong bodies, disciplined minds, confidence and effective survival skills.

We believe that fighting never solves any problems between people, but learning how to cope with violence, helps us to avoid fighting. When all else has failed self-protection and survival must prevail.

Ju-Jitsu is a combative Martial Art that conditions your child for combat from any distance. He learns to escape from locks and holds, throwing an attacker to the ground and how to control and immobilise adversaries his own age and size.

All children’s classes are supervised by qualified and dedicated instructors. This ensures that the necessary knowledge and techniques are acquired in a safe and friendly environment. Through fun, games and physical exercise, each child is taught hot to develop the necessary skills and attitude when faced with aggression and physical abuse.

Bushido Ju-Jitsu Academy was founded in 1989 by Sensei John Sevasta 2^nd Dan Ju-Jitsu, 2^nd Dan Judo and stick fighting instructor. During these past years Sensei John Sevasta has established Bushido Ju-Jitsu as a no nonsense direct and effective system of combat and self-defence. Tuition has always been restricted to serious, dedicated practitioners. Busihido Ju-Jitsu Academy is based on the spirit of friendship and dedication to survival in today’s increasingly violent society.

The Bushido Ju-Jitsu Academy is run by fully qualified instructors. It is a non-profit making organistion/group, all money that is made is ploughed back into the academy. As a result, we enjoy a sense of belonging and community. If students cannot afford the necessary safety and training equipment it is can be provided by the club e.g. headguards, gloves, body armour and focus pads.

We can be of service to you and you children as we have the necessary resources and qualifications to assist you.

Bushido means ‘The Way of the Warrior’. It is the Samurai Warriors code of ethics, expounding the virtues of integrity, justice, courage, goodwill, politeness, sincerity, honour, loyalty, self control and respect for one’s family.
